Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme

Milani Cosmetics. Wow. What can I say about this brand that you don’t already know? Well let me enlighten you just in case you don’t. This brand is amazing. Well, let me restate. It is great quality for the price. The lipsticks, the glosses, and the blushes rival any high end department store brand. How do they do it? I don’t know. But there are not many products that they make that are not super pigmented. But let’s just get to the point of this blog. Liquid Lipsticks.

Liquid lipsticks are what’s hot in these streets right now. What’s even hotter, are liquid lipsticks that dry matte. Matte lips, thanks to Kylie Jenner, are where you want to be in life. And I get it. It’s super chic and in most cases, the way it dries, eliminates a lot of the color transfer when you’re sipping your Starbucks. (Which I have completely given up, by the way.) Other than Kylie’s lippies, which are ridiculously hard to get because she refuses to increase production, the other best in class on the market is Kat Von D’s collection. But those bad boys are like twenty dollars a pop. No ma’am. I mean, I can splurge for one, maybe two. But I’m not subjecting myself to one or two daily colors a week. I need options. So I made it my mission to find an affordable replacement. And boy did I find one. Her name is Milani and her last name is Fabulous. Fabulous. Fabulous. Fabulous. The pigmentation is off the charts. Pros:

Super pigmented, long lasting, weightless application, great color selection, very brown girl friendly, frugal friendly price ($7.99) at most drug stores

Cons: 

Can be drying on lips (please moisturize your lips with Chapstick, Carmax or Vaseline before application), limited edition colors (This means the colors are not inline colors.  Once they sell out, they don’t usually replenish)
