Polka Dots Are a Vibe
I know I’ve been speaking a lot about vibes this year, but 2020 is all about good vibes. Polka dots send me good vibes. They are just so fun and playful, which is why I was thrilled to see so much of it on the Spring 2020 runways. Polka dots could be found on anything from a simple tee to a huge voluminous skirt. High street brands also followed suit and made sure they had a ton of offerings for price conscious consumers, i.e. me. Zara, for example, currently has several polka dot mini dresses for right under $50. However, I ended up snagging this Who What Wear mini dress for only $35! Yes, Who What Wear, my favorite street wear brand, strikes again. The cut on the dress is simply divine as it looks great on multiple body types and can be easily belted if you prefer a more defined waist. Although it’s on the shorter side if you’re of a certain height, it’s flowy, so it’s easy to get away with it in the office. I paired it with a pair of over the knee boots so that the boots would cover most of my exposed skin. This look is perfect for the girl who hates tights or lives in warmer climates. This is simply an easy piece to style that can take you right into the summer months. Swap the boots for a sandal or sneakers (try a bold color) and you’re good to go. Check out how I styled this dress. The dress is linked at the bottom.
