Who’s Wearing Who What Wear? Part 2

If you haven’t read part 1, then I recommend checking that post out to give you context about this post. Now let’s jump right into the outfits.
Trend: Coordinating Set + Polka Dots
I’ve already mentioned my obsession with polka dots and two piece outfits, so it should be no surprise that I’m loving the first outfit. I wanted to be a bit more playful, so I styled them with a fun pair of neon socks and a simple pair of nude heels. You can dress this outfit down with a pair of chunky sneakers, or a classic pair of Converse if you’re still not bold enough to try the chunky trend. And of course, you can separate the two pieces and wear them separately. The top goes very nicely over a pair of skinny jeans. The shirt can be worn with a simple white tee, or a white bodysuit and paired with some barely there sandals to make the look more summery.

More Polka Dots
The skirt is definitely the highlight of this look, although it can be styled up or down to fit your mood. In this look, I decided to style it for a brunch look, which always equals “cute + sassy” and ready for absolutely anything afterwards. I love the green color as well as the buttons that go all the way down. This enables this skirt to be styled with a massive split during the warmer summer months. In this look, I styled it with an off the shoulder voluminous navy top from Banana Republic. I chose to keep the footwear simple with just a brown pair of slide sandals from Zara.

Trend: Off the Shoulder Top + Stripes
I love everything about this look. Let’s start with the top, which is extremely affordable and available in 2 striped color ways. I paired it with an off white pair of wide leg crop jeans from H&M. As I mentioned in my last bog, I prefer off white over white when it comes to focal pieces like pants and blazers because they are hard to keep clean. I finished the look with faux snake sandals from Zara, which ties the look together quite nicely. I linked a similar pair of jeans because I couldn’t find the jeans online. However, I picked these up fairly recently, so you should be able to find these in the store.

Trend: Classic White Shirt with a Twist
I know that I said that I don’t prefer white, but that mainly applies to jackets and pants. It’s hard to have a complete wardrobe without a classic white tee or button down. I hesitated to post this look because the shirt is not available anymore, but you may be able to find it on the clearance rack, which is where I found this shirt. This shirt is so good because of its billowy sleeves and the generally oversized nature of the design. The front tie allows you to give the body some definition and is a unique detail you typically don’t find on simple white shirt designs. It just makes it so darn easy to style. All you really need to do is wear over a pair of jeans, no matter the style, and you’re good to go. It’s also long enough to wear over leggings and still be perfectly covered. In this look, I decided to go more playful and styled it with the same neon socks I wore in an earlier look and a pair of checkerboard Vans Asher sneakers. I also posted a few photos with it styled with a leather jacket for people who live in regions where it is still chilly outdoors.

Trend: Animal Print Midi Skirt
The animal print trend started last fall and it continues through the spring and summer seasons. Who What Wear recently released a three piece blush pink cheetah collection that includes a shirt that can be matched back to a coordinating midi skirt, and a dress. I picked up the skirt along with the dress. Most of my looks have been more polished, so I wanted to give you an athleisure inspired look, which is a fairly common look I rock to work on a regular basis. I work in an extremely casual office environment. I paired the skirt with an oversized sweatshirt, also can be found at Target, and tied it back to my classic black and white Vans Ward sneakers. Unfortunately, the animal pieces are not online as of today. However, these literally just hit stores, so you should be able to find these pieces in stores very easily. I will keep checking the site and update this post with links when available online.
